In which way do you love the tomato soup? In my childhood we use to eat with alphabet pasta. One of these days I desire hot soups and at least once a week I cook tomato soup. Lately I love to season it with basil and lot of garlic.


1 l tomato purée
1 cup water
3-4 cloves garlic
basil leaves
1 tbs raw honey
2 tbs oliv oil
salt, pepper, parsley
tapioca flour


Heat 1 tbs olive oil in a sauce pan and add the chopped garlic. Once you start to feel the smell of the garlic add the raw honey and the basil leaves. Pour it with the tomato pureé and season it.

Cook the soup for 20-30 mins then add a cup of water.

In a frying pan preheat a tablespoon olive oil and add the tapioca flour. You will get a roux that you should add to the soup very gently.

Remove the soup from the oven. Serve it with cheese-toast, or simply toast.
